Spektrum der Wissenschaft is a monthly German magazine founded in 1978. It is the German counterpart of the popular American magazine Scientific American. It focuses on science and, in particular, archeology, astronomy, biology, physics, geography, maths, medicine and psychology. Every month, the magazine has a different theme.
In a series of short videos, 'Rust Never Sleeps' tells the story of how a tiny fungus came to threaten to destroy one of the most important crops in the world, and how we may or may not be able to stop it.
